With over 20 years of fundraising, and marketing experience, Rachelle L. Beckner has excelled in diverse fields such as professional communication, healthcare, social services, and higher education. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and an Executive M.B.A., both from West Virginia University.
Rachelle's early career in the news editorial field led her to write award-winning articles for newspapers across Florida and West Virginia. In 2001, she pivoted to philanthropy, where she has since raised millions of dollars for organizations including the Charleston Area Medical Center Foundation, the YWCA of Charleston, WV, Kanawha County Public Library, West Virginia University Institute of Technology, Clemson University, Tigers United University Consortium, and Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.
In addition to her impressive fundraising and marketing career, Rachelle has extensive experience teaching public speaking and technical writing in an academic setting.
